There is a meditative peace in a falling I piece after a few chaotic seconds of misaligned Z, L, J, and T bars.

No matter how many years pass, I always return to this gem. For me, Tetris is the ultimate definition of old but golden.

Created in 1984 by Soviet engineer Alexey Pajitnov, it has not only survived the test of time, but continues to thrive as one of the best-selling video games of all time.
