Accelerando - "The Singularity Has Come!"

Accelerando by Charles Stross perfectly captures that creepy, modern feeling we all have today. Technology is moving so blindingly fast that our institutions, laws, and brains are constantly redlining just trying to keep up.

You might not connect deeply with the characters in this novel, but it will change the way you look at the universe. It is easily one of my favorite science fiction books.
